Arctic Wildlife Tours
Antarctica adventure in a small group
Join Arctic Wildlife Tours for a unique opportunity to visit some of the most unique and remote regions of the world, while still traveling in a small group of likeminded people.
In February 2027 we will host two Antarctic Photography Expeditions onboard the sailing vessel Ocean Tramp. As we will be using airplanes to fly from Chile to Antarctica you will not spend your precious time crossing the Drake Passage by ship, all this time will be freed up for photography and exploration. We want to maximize the time spent in the icy waters of the Gerlache Strait and the Antarctic Peninsula.
At Arctic Wildlife Tours we have always focused on small scale trips that are tailormade for photographers and wildlife enthuisiasts. This is a recipe that we have developed over our decade long experience in Svalbard and Greenland. Now we will take the same concept to Antarctica. While most ships that takes people to Antarctica will carry hundreds of people we want to do something different.
In the polar regions we often need to work during early mornings and late evenings to utilize the most beautiful light and the periods where the animals are most active. When travelling in our small groups you will be able to utilize both the sunrise and the sunset, without being caught in a crowd of hundreds of tourists.
After all... We are not tourists. We are expedition photographers and wildlife lovers!
In our small groups, on our Antarctic Photography Expeditions, you will have full flexibility and greatly increased chances to go home with the shots you were looking for.
After flying from Punta Arenas, Chile, to King George Island in Antarctica you will board the Ocean Tramp. Shortly after you embark on the ship we will set sail and , over night, make our way the last stretch down to the frozen continent. Here we will be spending nearly two weeks exploring area and photographing the unique wildlife. Penguins. Whales. Leopard seals.
With our experienced Arctic Wildlife Tours guides you will be taken to the most amazing sites Antarctica has to offer, in a group of no more than 8 people.
The ultimate Antarctic Photography Expedition!
