NANPA Summit in Tucson / Arizona

Breakout Speaker: NANPA Summit 2025 Norbert Rosing
I have published more than 25 picture books (collectible books), did many exhibition shows and the German post used nine of my images for making stamps. I started in the late 1980’s with my project: The world of the polar bear, continued with books about the Yellowstone NP and on the natural wonders of the US Southwest. Also extensively I photographed the natural wonders of my home country Germany and did a big story on the plant: clematis vitalba.
Session Information
Wild Places Friday, May 16 / 5:00pm – 6:15pm / Breakout Room – TBA
I will start with a story on: “Lovestory for and unloved plant“ the beauty of the wild Clematis vitalba, followed by a little story about the rock wonders in the Frankonia wilderness area in southern Germany.
Yellowstone is presenting itself in erupting geysers and beautiful light. Polars bear mothers emerge from their dens with the offsprings and later wrestling polar bears in soft arctic fall time light. Greenland and Svalbard landscapes and wildlife are next and the amazing paradise of South Georgia and the Antarctic peninsula end my story.
We all as NANPA members should feel very happy to be so privileged that we can witness all the wonders the planet has to offer. Let’s work on it to keep it that way.
